ORAUSA Women Program

The Women Affairs Committee has a rich portfolio of impactful programs designed to empower and support women in multiple areas of life. Under their stewardship, they lead several vital initiatives, including:
 
 1. Women Programs – Engaging and empowering women with various developmental activities and support.
 2. Microfinance – Providing small loans and financial resources to foster economic independence and entrepreneurship.
 3. Special Needs Projects – Assisting individuals with special needs through targeted resources and advocacy.
 4. Scholarship Program – Offering scholarships to support educational aspirations and academic achievements.
 5. Igbo Class – Preserving culture and language by teaching Igbo to interested members and the younger generation.
 6. Women Interactive Program – Creating spaces for women to connect, share experiences, and support one another.
 7. Vacation Trips – Organizing trips that offer relaxation, exploration, and bonding opportunities for women.
 
Through these programs, the Women Affairs Committee is truly fostering a supportive, enriching environment for women to grow, learn, and thrive together.

About ORAUSA Micro Finance

ORAUSA Women programs are designed to empower women.

ORAUSA Micro Lending Project is designed to provide basic trading and bookkeeping knowledge and empower rural women, reducing poverty by steps.

  • To advance interest-free loan N200,000 each to less privileged women to start a new trade or add capital to an existing trade
  • To help women from each LGA in Orlu Senatorial Zone.

ORA USA Women programs are helping the less privileged.

ORAUSA Special Needs Project is designed to assist children with special needs. Each year, ORAUSA women pay a visit to a special needs home.

200,000 Naira per LGA in Orlu Senatorial Zone

A maximum of 12 loans can be issued within one year. One per LGA. 12 is the number of LGA in Orlu Senatorial zone
